So here is my card I made with some new goodies available from the Crafty Doodle Chick store!  So, my goal is to actually use all these stamps that I have been hoarding away that I think I love staring at more so than using and the biggest is all the MFT stamps I have collected.  Today I used Furever Friends stamp and matching die set which come from the recent February release.  Such a cute set I have 2 fur babies so I had to get this set right?!! but I wanted the focal point for my card to be the awesome Love You die.

1. First, I ran it through my Spellbinder Artisan Xplorer machine.. yes I know it’s time for me to upgrade I just haven’t decided which machine I want just yet and this one still works beautifully so for now this will do and I love the thing.

2.  I ran a piece of foam through it with the same die so I could create a shaker background.  I said it was suspended because I wasn’t quite sure how to describe how I made it.  I actually used 2 pieces of acetate which sort of captured the shaker pieces which is above the foam.  So the shaker pieces are  Gala Glitz from HFC just love this stuff and it is not above the green polka dot patterned paper it actually is captured a layer above it.  So I called it suspended.  I am sure there is another word. lol

3.  Then I stamped my image onto the watercolor paper using Stazon ink and then colored him with vintage photo oxides.  He actually looks so much lighter in the photo that it does live.  So I am guessing I need to deepen the color next time.

4. To finish it off I stamped a few paw prints and walla it’s complete.

I hope everyone enjoyed my card on this Saturday and thanks for stopping by.  I know some of you are waiting for the videos I said I would do I still haven’t got the camera I like totally but soon….
